The "Sherlock" series of BBC experienced an fantastic success. "Sherlock" won seven awards compared to "Breaking Bad" with only six awards during Emmy's Awarding night. BBC actually outgunned the "True Detective" as well as "Game of Thrones." Obviously, BBC is very particularly pleased with "Sherlock's" triumph. Such series was launched year 2011 with lead stars Martin Freeman as Watson, the sidekick and Benedict Cumberbatch playing the role of Sherlock. The first as well as the second series have been very popular in UK. "Sherlock" won the BAFTA, Best Drama Series 2011.
"It's great to see Sherlock being recognized so spectacularly at the Emmys," controller of the drama who is getting commissions at BBC, Ben Stephenson said. "I'm delighted that the BBC is home to so much world class acting and writing talent."
There are positive feedbacks with having "Sherlock" as BBC's top series. "Great talent indeed. And I can't help but wonder what would happen at the Emmys if all of the BBC's drama output were in contention," one of the avid fans of Sherlock said.
Recently, BBC announced the new features of "Sherlock" 3rd season. In addition to the new features is the launching of home video minisode entitled 'Many Happy Returns.'

Martin Freeman assured all the "Sherlock" fans that this season will be an epic! "It's going to be full of surprises for you, and for us and for everybody. I think we just know to expect the unexpected now," Freeman said. But just like with the rest of crew and cast, Martin never reveals anything about the "Sherlock's" teasers.
"What has been explained to me and Ben [Cumberbatch] and Amanda Abbington - my missus who plays Mary - has been very exciting," he added.
The special edition of "Sherlock" 3rd Series will be available in UK on the 3rd of November 2014. You can also pre-order this from the BBC Shop for £13.99 (DVD) and £17.49 (Blu-Ray).
