Kirk Whalum Launches Daily Podcast with Olive Tree

Olive Tree announced this month the launch of a new podcast, Bible In Your Ear, hosted by Grammy Award-winning saxophonist Kirk Whalum. Exclusively sponsored by Olive Tree, Whalum hosts the daily podcast series, which features readings from four different sections of Scripture in the NKJV translation, read aloud by Whalum and a variety of guest artists. The goal of the Bible In Your Ear podcast is to read through the entire Bible in 365 readings, in 15 minutes or less.
Whalum, an avid user of the Olive Tree app and a busy musician on tour, wanted to provide a way for people to consume Bible content in a new way. "When I'm on the road, it's sometimes hard to stay focused on my Bible reading. It's also sometimes hard to carry my Bible because I have limited space, carrying instruments onboard flights. So reading through the Bible became a challenge," says Whalum. "I decided to create a podcast so I could read through the entire Bible for myself and anyone else who wanted to listen."
Listeners can subscribe to Whalum's Bible In Your Ears podcast at www.bibleinyourear.com and start listening or reading along today through iTunes, Google Play, PodBean, or an RSS feed.
