South of Royal Releases New Worship Album "Deliverance & Doubt"

"Deliverance & Doubt" marks the debut album from South of Royal and the first official project of The Village Church Music, a vision to create biblical, creative, diverse and formational music by the church for the church.
The album is an honest and fresh exploration into unbelief, giving voice to those who feel like they're stuck in the desert, through a unique collision of worship and alternative synth rock. Borrowing the ethos of lament from the ancient church, "Deliverance & Doubt" threads that sense of worship into a vibrant modern style that runs the gamut of electro-pop, power ballads and rock, based in a bed of subtle 80s sounds.

South of Royal and their debut album, "Deliverance & Doubt", is the first official project under The Village Church's new direction with music, created to celebrate and bolster the unique giftings and styles of music at our campuses. We want to celebrate this diversity across our campuses while remaining unified as one church, exploring an array of different sounds and genres.
