Southern Raised Joins StowTown Records

StowTown Records has once again added to its ever-growing roster of talented artists. The gospel music label, in just its fifth year of existence, is thrilled to announce the signing of Southern Raised, the fast-rising Reith sibling quartet from Crane, MO.
This family group's unmistakeable harmony has already made a huge impact nationwide with their energetic trademark sound comprised of a classical blend of Bluegrass, Southern Gospel, and Christian Country.
Southern Raised is composed of three sisters, Lindsay (bass), Sarah (banjo), and Emily (mandolin and violin), along with their younger brother Matthew (guitar).
"We are on the edge of our seats with excitement and anticipation for what the future holds for Southern Raised and StowTown/Provident-Sony! We are honored to partner with such a gifted and quality team with a passion for excellence and commitment to bring music that ministers to the world," said the group in a joint statement. "We are absolutely thrilled to join with the entire StowTown family!"
Collectively, Southern Raised has received multiple nominations in recent years for: Singing News Fan Awards, Diamond Awards, Front Porch Fellowship and SPBGMA Midwest awards, Band of the Year, Vocal Group of the Year, and Christian Country Album of the Year.
"I'm so impressed at the musicianship of this talented family," said producer and StowTown co-founder Wayne Haun. "They can play everything, and that includes the 'kitchen sink'! But, seriously, I'm looking forward to getting them into the studio and seeing what happens."
The four siblings have been featured on RFD TV's Larry's Country Diner and The Music City Show as well as Gospel Music Showcase hosted by Guy Penrod on the Daystar Network.
"Hearing Wayne's heart and his desire to produce and create music that speaks to the soul, grips the emotions, and comes alive during each performance is every band's dream in a producer," the group added. "God is so good and kind, always guiding our path and ultimately bringing us exactly to where He knows best. He has brought us to this place for such a time as this!"
