HTC Desire Eye vs Desire 612 Features, Specs, Latest News, Updates: A Comprehensive Comparison
HTC smartphone platform is busting with its rapid release where big names HTC Desire Eye, HTC One M8 Eye, HTC Desire 612 Eye are waiting on the list. Recently the manufacturer has focused on the camera quality along with its durable smart design and hardware configuration. HTC One M8 was accused of performing poorly in terms of low light with only 4MP dual rear camera sensor. So Desire Eye and the sibling of One M8 named One M8 Eye are the proof that the company is cutting down its loose ends.
Both the devices are pegged for release where Desire 612 is expected to make its appearance in this month and Desire Eye is due for November according to ZDNet.

HTC Desire 612 has 312 pixels per inch that is packed in a 4.7-inch display screen size. The display resolution is 720 x 1280 pixels and the display type is capacitive touchscreen with 16M colors. HTC user interface HTC Sense remains there with version 5.5. The Desire Eye will be larger with 5.2-inch display size. The pixel density will be sharp s needle edge as it has 424pixels per inch with 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution. HTC Sense v6 is available in the phone as stated in GSMarena.
The HTC Desire 612 has standard 8MP rear camera while the front camera is a bit backdated and equipped with 1.3MP camera sensor. On the other hand, HTC Desire Eye is blessed with 13MP primary camera and amazingly true 13MP front facing camera. For the provision of front 13MP camera, this device is also known as selfi phone mentioned by the IB Times.
The Desire 612 has mediocre hardware specification where the chipset has Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 and Quad-Core 1.2GHz processor. The GPU is also moderate with Adreno 305 chip. The big call HTC Desire Eye is supported with Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 chipset along with Quad-Core 2.3GHz Krait 400 processor.
The GPU segment might be a bit down sloped with Adreno 330. The Desire 612 is packed with 1GB of RAM and8GB of internal storage while Desire Eye has 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. The storage capacity is expandable to 128GB with additional microSD card. Both the devices run on operating system Android v 4.4 KitKat.
