Game Of Thrones Season 5 Premiere, Casting, Spoilers And Latest Updates: Also Known As Little Finger, Petyr Baelish Will Be Returning To King's Landing In The Upcoming Season Of Game Of Thrones
We have the latest for you on the premiere, casting, spoilers and latest updates of Game of Thrones season 5. Fans have really been waiting for "Game of Thrones" season 5 and there have been many spoilers circulating. One thing, however, that may get the fans by surprise is that the 5th season of the series will also feature Petyr Baelish again. Not many had expected this to happen.
Also known as Little Finger, Petyr Baelish was seen in a picture that was leaked, wearing his typical gown and also holding an umbrella. The character will be returning to King's Landing in the upcoming season. According to the books though, he was still in Vale. According to IBTimes, the book, 'A Feast for Crows' read that Petyr will be trying to consolidate his power. With the death of his wife Lysa, Petyr will attempt to call himself the Lord Protector of the Vale. Although there is some initial resistance, Petyr manages to convince the lords of Vale to at least give him a trial period. The Lords will later judge according to his performance during this period.
The appearance of the character in the upcoming season in King's Landing comes as a surprise to the fans of the franchise. Will he have the same behavior? Will he once again take the role of master of coins in "Game of Thrones" season 5? Fans will remember that that one of the ways that Petyr would use to raise money for the Iron Throne was by borrowing heavily. The Iron Throne is now heavily indebted, all thanks to Petyr. The Iron Bank was last seen throwing its weight behind Stannis Baratheon. Petyr's presence in King's Landing also brings the possibility of another character coming back in the season, Sansa Stark.
Sansa Stark is considered by many as the killer of King Joffrey in King's Landings hence she changes her name and appearance then travelled with Petyr Baelish to Vale. Because of this, she might not return to the city. One question that rises is whether she will learn to rule in the Vale. Are you excited by the upcoming season of "Game of Thrones"? Stay with us for more news on this and much more.
