'The Voice Season 7' Latest Advisor Revealed! Welcome Taylor Swift - Will She Last For Long? Know What She Has to Say To The Other Advisors
Taylor Swift is the latest celebrity to join "The Voice Season 7." She will take on the role left by Chris Martin and she's joining the powerhouse cast of Pharell Williams, Gwen Stefani, Blake Shelton and Adam Levine. Other advisors for the show include Little Big Town, Stevie Wonder, Gavin Rossdale and Alicia Keys.
In an interview with Access Hollywood, Taylor revealed her strategy on how she will help the contestants. The singer revealed that she plans to be direct with the contestants and tell them what they really need. She will focus on "vocal technique, stage presence, and picking the right songs" to highlight their strength. Taylor said, "I try to react to them the way that I like to be critiqued, which is constructive criticism."
Viewers will start to see the "Shake it Off" singer starting Oct. 27, 2014.
Taylor also shared her experiences working with "The Voice" coaches.
"The first person that I worked with was Blake Shelton, who I've known for years because we both have been in the country music scene for years and years and years. His favorite things to do is [sic] to make me uncomfortable!" As for Pharell, Taylor said that the "Happy" singer is a "sorcerer of happiness," she said.
Aside from being excited to coach the contestants in "The Voice Season 7," the singer is also excited about working with another iconic singer, Gwen Stefani. Taylor shared she looked up to Gwen "because she's continued to do her thing" and she is "really excited to spend time with her."
While it is true that Taylor doesn't have a powerful musical pipe, she can definitely advise contestants to polish their image and suggest what works best for them. She's a great addition to the team. After all, she's a top performer with millions of fans around the world. Taylor managed to build an empire and most of it she did on her own.
According to CMT, Blake has something to say about the newest addition to "The Voice Season 7."
"I love that. It's taking a stand for where she feels like she is right now musically," he said.
