Half-Life 3 Release Date: Do we hear good news from Valve Software? Counter Strike creator confirms Game is "Under Development"
Half-Life 3 release date is one that is highly been anticipated by gamers since the last Half Life release in 2007. Valve Software is quite mum on this subject, but recent leaks from reliable sources hinted a possible release of Half Life 3.
A former employee of Valve had suggested that Half Life 3 is in development.
More so, Counter Strike creator Minh "Gooseman" Le claimed that Valve is indeed working on Half-Life 3.
"I don't think I can talk about that, to be honest, but I think it's kind of public knowledge, that people know that it is being worked on," Le said in an interview with GoRgnTV.
He continued, "And so if I were to say that yeah, I've seen some images, like some concept art of it, that wouldn't be big news to be honest.
Le added further, "But yeah, I mean like I guess I could say that I did see something that looked kinda like in the Half-Life universe. And I mean it wouldn't surprise anyone if I said they're doing it, they're working on it, yeah. So to go on a limb I'd say I did see some concept art for Half-Life 3."
Earlier this year, Valve Founder Gabe Newell revealed how the studio rose from the ranks in an interview with Washington Post.
"When we started out we were a single-player video game company that could have been really successful just doing Half-Life sequel after Half-Life sequel, but we collectively said let's try to make multi-player games even though there's never been a commercial successful multi-player game," Newell said.
He added, "We've essentially crowd-sourced supervision of a lot of these decisions to our customers and it works way better than almost any other system we could design. They're rabid, they're passionate, and there are a lot of them."
Valve Software is also the genius behind hit franchises such as DoTa 2, Counter-Strike and Left 4 Dead.
