The Blacklist Season 2 ratings up from previous season; series faring well on its own
The Blacklist Season 2 news: So far, so good.
According to The Nielsen Company, The Blacklist Season 2's pilot episode, which aired last September 22, got a 3.4 rating among the 18-49 year old demographic. What's more, 12.3 million viewers were tuned in to NBC's crime drama. The figures are an improvement from The Blacklist Season 1's performance during the same period last fall, which got an average rating of 2.9 and a viewership of close to 10.8 million.
Debuted in the Fall 2013, The Blacklist is the story of Raymond "Red" Reddington, a government agent turned wanted fugitive (James Spader), who, together with newbie FBI agent Elizabeth Keen (Megan Boone), helps the Feds identify hard-to-catch politicians, mobsters, spies and international terrorists for prosecution. The Blacklist Season 2 cast includes Harry Lennix, Diego Klattenhoff, Ryan Eggold, and Amir Arison.
