At the season finale of The Originals season 1, the French Quarter had been taken over by the Guerrera family of werewolves, sapping Klaus Mikaelson, portrayed by Joseph Morgan, from his power with magical

help from witches. Not only he and Hayley Marshall, played by Phoebe Tonkin, had to worry about that, they also had to worry about the safety of their daughter, Hope. Thankfully, she was saved by Rebekah Mikaelson, played by Claire Holt.

But The Originals season 2 won't be giving them a sigh of relief as they, together with Klaus' brother Elijah Mikaelson (played by Daniel Gillies) and Marcel (played by Charles Michael Davis) will be dealing with a lot aside from plotting revenge against the Guerreras.

One of the biggest things they have to face is that Davina Claire, played by Danielle Campbell, was able to resurrect their father, Mikael Mikaelson. Not only that, they will also have to deal with the wrath of their mother, Esther. Sounds like a happy family reunion for the Mikaelson's, right? Roché shared in an interview with E!News that the first five episodes of the series will be "very intense" and that fans can expect epic confrontational scenes between Mikael and his sons.

Guest starring in The Originals season 2 will be Teen Wolf alum Daniel Sharman who will be playing Kaleb, a mysterious character in his own right, where he will sidetrack Davina.

The Originals release date is set on October 6 with its first episode entitled as Rebirth.
