Arms Around the Child's The Other Ball

The Other Ball
The Other Ball, their newest annual fundraising event, will provide funds to do that very important work. With its debut on December 10, 2013 at the Highline Ballroom in New York City, the new gala will have a star-studded line-up on hand. Hosted by Mark Ronson, there will be performances by The Black Keys, A$AP Rocky, Mikky Ekko, Lykke Li and Miguel.
TOPSHOP TOPMAN, the official sponsor, is excited about being a part of something that helps so many. In a press release, a company spokesman said, "When Mark approached us about 'The Other Ball' and told us the incredible story of Arms Around the Child and Leigh Blake and her team's work to make positive change in the lives of helpless and exposed children across the world, there was no question regarding our support. This event will bring creative hearts and minds together in one of this year's most exciting events and will no doubt raise awareness and much-needed funds to enable Leigh and her team to continue their invaluable work for these extremely vulnerable young people."
The night will not just be about great entertainment. The Other Ball will honor revolutionaries who quietly, yet tirelessly and patiently work to change the world. The inaugural event will honor Peter Edge, CEO of RCA Records, Bob Roth, Executive Director of the David Lynch Foundation and Mark Seliger, outstanding American photographer.
Members of The Other Ball Event Committee include Clive Davis, Judy McGrath, Christian Louboutin, Tom Corson, Simon Doonan, Barbara and Ray Dalio, Brandon Creed, Seth Rosenfeld, Alex Patsavas, Ceci Kurzman, J.B. Miller, Emma Grede and Russell Simmons.
