Arrow Season 3 Release Date, Reveals, Reviews, Rumors and Plot: League of Assassins Come Back and Arrow is Haunted by the Ghost of his Past, Deathstroke
Arrow is based on a fictional DC Comics superhero originally created by Morton Weisinger and designed George Papp. The hero whose real identity is Oliver Queen, a billionaire businessman an owner of Queen Industries, first made his appearance in More Fun Comics in November 1941 #73. The hero has appeared in numerous films and series amongst which include his latest series arrow that has by far rocked the box office with its first two seasons. The series that got its renewal for the third season on February 13, 2014 is scheduled to premiere on October 8th 2014, a day after the flash with whom they share creators.
In season 2 of the series, we are introduced to the sad gloomy Oliver Queen with so much going on in the life of his two personas. Oliver Queen on one hand is haunted by the mistakes of his family such as his mothers' that leads her to jail and on the other hand there is the Arrow who is haunted by the ghost of his past, Deathstroke. Oliver has to in a way manage to balance both these personas and maintain his cool lest he breaks down. Throughout the series Oliver manages to handle all this brilliantly and his decisions manage to see him on top at the end of the series.
After the devastating threat in season 2 that Oliver and his team somehow managed to triumph, season three opens with a now safer Starling City than before in the era of Slade Wilson, Death Stroke. Due to the rapid drop in crime in the city Capt. Lance calls off his Anti-Vigilante Task Force because of how useful the Arrow proved to be in the dark days of season two now past. Due to his recent success, Oliver finally believes he can have a private life now that there are no serious threats in the streets hence he asks Felicity out on a date. But just when the City starts getting used to the idea of peace and quiet, Ra's al Ghul comes to town.
