Kate Gosselin News 2014: Single Mom's Exposé; Kate's Kids 1st day of School Photo Shared

Kate Plus 8 lead star Kate Gosselin tweeted "Happy 1^st and 2^nd day of school! And, Shoka joined pic w/o being asked, stole the show w his smile."  After 10 years of marriage, Kate divorced Jon Gosselin in 2009. She shared  photos of her children- Mady and Cara who are currently in 8^th grade and her sextuplets, Leah, Joel, Hannah, Collin, Alexis, and Aaden who are already in 4^th grade.

Going back to Kate's interview, she shared what she had gone through after the divorce. She admitted, "I cry behind closed doors"-  which is normal for grieving single moms. As far as we can we see, Kate is a woman who is in control of  her life. However, she also wants to share to the whole world that being a single mom  with eight kids to support is not easy at all.

"I'm one of many single moms out there. It's not ideal. On a very busy day, where the logistics aren't lining up - I have to be here to pick this kid up and I have to be there to do whatever that happens so often now I can't even tell you," Kate said at a special sneak peek of Kate Plus Eight, TLC's two-part series.

"It's really easy to feel like just saying, 'It's too much.' There's me and there's eight kids, I don't think an hour goes by that I'm not reminded that those odds are completely unbalanced."

"It was never my intent to portray myself as superwoman," the author of three New York Times best-sellers insists. "I mean, I cry behind closed doors, I struggle. But I have to remind myself, this is my one shot. You're going to mess up. Just don't give up, " the 39-year old Gosselin said.
