Castle Season 7 Spoilers: What Happened to Rick?

Castle Season 7 Spoilers: What Happened to Rick?
Last season was nothing short of outstanding drama and without any doubt, the finale left many mysteries that need to be solved. Fans definitely did not like the way Rick disappeared just before the much anticipated wedding and now it is time to look into what exactly happened.
Castle Season 7 is all set to premiere on September 29 at 9pm on ABC but spoilers tease us with bits of information on what's coming next.
Rick and Kate
According to latest updates, the wedding will happen again soon. Of course, it is too early to talk about the whys and hows of Rick's disappearance in the car but many fans believe that he will be back on the show at the earliest. Kate will keep the hunt on and eventually finds Rick through mysterious ways. After that, it is expected that they plan to marry, once again. Spoilers further suggest that the wedding will be on this coming season only. But before that, we are up for oodles of drama and Kate's frustration to find out why Rick was not in the flaming car after that accident.
New Characters
So, who actually did this to Rick Castle? Was it an old enemy or are we up for some new cast members? Interestingly, the producers have talked about possibilities of new villains in recent interviews. It is believed that Kate will conduct a private search as she finds proof that points to a mysterious group of people plotting against Castle.
