'Hotel Transylvania 2' Update: Coming on September 25, 2015; Tartakovsky To Direct Again
Hotel Transylvania 2 is now confirmed for release on September 25, 2015. The sequel is directed by the original director Genndy Tartakovsky. The announcement of the release date was made public on November 9, 2012.
Hotel Transylvania is an American 3D computer animated fantasy comedy movie. The movie was first released in 2012. It was produced by Sony Pictures Animation and released by Columbia Pictures worldwide.
The movie was a big hit and even received a nomination for a Golden Globe Award for Best Animated Feature Film. It earned $358 million at the box office against a production budget of just $85 million.
The film is about Dracula who owns a hotel named Hotel Transylvania. This hotel is a refuge for monsters from human population and civilization. Adam Sandler rendered the voice of Dracula. Selena Gomez voiced Dracula's daughter Mavis and Andy Samberg did her love interest Jonathan who somehow lands in the hotel making it possible for Mavis to fall in love with him.
Now, producers are coming back with the all new Hotel Transylvania 2 movie. Will we hear the voices of the stars from the first movie again? Apart from Adam Sandler, Selena Gomez, and Andy Samberg, other actors and actresses who did voice-overs in the film include Kevin James, Fran Drescher, Cee-Lo Green, David Spade, Steve Buscemi, Molly Shannon, Jon Lovitz. They have yet to confirm.
Hotel Transylvania 2 is due for release on September 25, 2015. Fans are surely excited to know what happens next with Mavis and Johnny.
