The Amazing Promotional Strategy of Shahrukh Khan's Happy New Year
Producers of this year's most-awaited Bollywood film, Shahrukh Khan's Happy New Year, are using diverse methods to promote the movie and reach out to more potential viewers. They are taking advantage of technology in furthering their cause--film for all people, not only in India.
The producers have previously released two of the music featured in the movie. Today they launched a grand music event that showcased the movie's entire track lineup. Bollywood film lovers, and especially Shahrukh Khan fans, are definitely having a blast right now as the show can be viewed through live streaming online. They can watch the music event on YouTube and the movie trailer on WhatsApp.
On top of these, the film producers tapped Facebook and Twitter for a complete online promotion. With social media being used alongside traditional promotion strategies, the producers of Happy New Year are getting the attention they want for their film.
Happy New Year, acclaimed to be exemplary in musical scoring and acting, is directed by Farah Khan and is expected to be released in October. It can only be hoped that the film would live up to its promise.
