'Frozen' Movie Rides Along with Princess Anna and Elsa Meet & Greets Coming to Disney World
The expanse of the Frozen movie widens yet again. Disney World has announced that a 'Frozen' ride will be coming to the Norway pavilion according to Disney Parks blog.
The new ride will replace the long-standing Maelstrom (opened in 1988). The experience will take guests to Arendelle and will let fans re-live their favorite moments from the hit movie. Princess Anna and Queen Elsa will be present in the Norway pavilion and available for their meet and greets and Queen Elsa will also use her powers to transform Cinderella Castle into an ice palace every night starting in early November.
The cast stars Anna, Elsa, Kristoff and Olaf will also appear in the park's "Once Upon a Christmastime Parade."
The Frozen cast has also infiltrated the hit ABC series "Once Upon a Time" for Season 4 and have chosen Elizabeth Lail to play Princess Anna, Georgina Haig to play Princess Elsa and Scott Michael Foster and play Kristoff.
Adam Horowitz, executive producer of "Once Upon A Time" shared with The Hollywood Reporter recently that they were "honored" to be able to incorporate the Frozen universe and characters into his hit series. "We fell in love with [the movie] when it came out last year like everyone did, and we want to do our best to do it justice."
Frozen movie was released in 2013, produced by Walt Disney Animation Studios and released by Walt Disney Pictures. It is the 53rd animated feature in the Walt Disney Animated Classics series. Inspired by Hans Christian Andersen's fairy tale The Snow Queen, the film tells the story of a fearless princess who sets off on an epic journey alongside a rugged iceman, his loyal pet reindeer, and a hapless snowman to find her estranged sister, whose icy powers have inadvertently trapped the kingdom in eternal winter.
