Game Of Thrones Books Release Date, Price, Reports And Rumors: George R.R. Martin's Next Game Of Thrones Book Will Not Be Titled "The Winds Of Winter."
We have the latest for you on the release date, price, reports and rumors of Game Of Thrones books. "The World of Ice and Fire," this is the title of George RR Martin's next book in the book series The Game of Thrones, "A Song of ice and Fire". Martin revealed that the book will be available to the public on October 26th this year in an event in New York.
The book tells the untold history of the lands of Westeros and Essos. The book which is due next month is not the one fans were eagerly waiting for in his seven book series of "A song of ice and fire." The book he is to release on the 26th is not "The Winds of Winter", it seems the wait is going to be excruciating.
Instead co-authors/fact-checkers Elio Garcia and Linda Antonsson of Westoros.org alongside author Martin are scheduled to release "The World of Ice and Fire" which tells the untold history of Westeros and The Game of Thrones. The World of Ice and Fire is an illustrated volume with over 300 pages of history, wine and bloodshed serves as a prologue giving the full history of the seven kingdoms and the betrayals, battles rivalries and rebellions that leads to the events unfolding on the screen.
With over 170 original pieces of maps and color art-works, details the family tree of Houses Stark, Lannister, and Targaryen. Readers will have a deeper understanding and will be able to relate with HBO's adaption of the series The Game of Thrones.
$170 is the cost of the ticket for those who wish to attend the launching of the book in New York on the 26th and can buy the ticket on the events site which will include a pre-signed copy of the book. For those unable to attend, there will be a live stream of the day's event.
Martin has contributed a lot of new content to the new book and the number of fans wishing he spent more time on the previous book, "The Winds of Winter," will significantly be few. Martin has already told disappointed fans in his previous book how he feels. The book will be officially released on October 28th were it can be pre ordered on Amazon and other retailers for around $30 or 20 Euros.
