Doctor Strange Release Date: Update about Doctor Strange Casting, Cumberbatch is the Doctor Strange?
The Doctor Strange by Marvel movies is one of the most anticipated movies that people especially the fans are expected to be released by year 2016. Marvel is confident that Doctor Strange is another big comic character that soon to be a part of Marvel Cinematic Universe. Since that day when Kevin Fiege, Marvel Studios President announced about Doctor Strange, fans are too demanding to know who would play the role of Doctor Strange.
This Doctor Strange is actually one of the many Marvel characters that you are going to meet which will be introduced by Marvel Cinematic Universe by Phase 3. Aside from this, you are also about to meet the Ant-Man, Scarlet Witch, and Vision. These are just few of the many new characters that Marvel will soon release on big screens. So, watch out!
There are rumors about the casting of Doctor Strange spreading in the internet. Media outlets as well as fans, well especially the fans are speculating that Benedict Cumberbatch lead star of Sherlock will be the one to portray the Doctor Strange's character. Such rumor is spreading and swirling like wildfire. But MTV claim the responsibility of seeking the truth about it, asking Cumberbatch how true the rumor is.
"As far as I'm aware, even if that was the case, it couldn't work out because I'm doing a little play called 'Hamlet' in London." Cumberbatch said.
"So I don't think I could even if that was in the cards. It sounds like a fantastic project. It's a shame if I miss out, but who knows? I couldn't possibly comment," he added.
