The Biggest Loser Season 16 Release Date & Latest News; Upcoming Season Will Feature Contestants with Athletic Backgrounds; Plus, Two New Trainers to Fill in Jillian Michaels' Departure

The upcoming latest season of NBC's popular weight - loss reality TV show "The Biggest Loser" is very far now, and this time, it seems like the show will be off to an exciting new track that will make it quite different from its previous season.

It is revealed that The Biggest Loser Season 16 contestants will all be having some athletic background, an idea that departs from its preceding seasons. As revealed, The Biggest Loser Season 16 cast will include Gina Haddon of Rowlett, a former cheerleader as well as a cheerleading coach. According to Haddon, she was "always the bigger girl, and then in high school when I was 15 or 16, I was the fat girl," she said in her official bio. Currently weighing 41 and 242 pounds, Haddon would now want to exclude all the excess weight and be a healthier person in order to become a much better example to her two children, aged 15 and all. Haddon presently generates her income as a photographer and as a makeup artist.

The show's set of trainers are also revealed. The Biggest Loser Season 16 trainers now consist of returning trainers Bob Harper and Dolvett Quince and two "rookies" Jessie Pavelka and Jennifer Widerstrom.
