Rock The Desert, 2013, To Feature Flyleaf, For Today, Lecrae, Red, Thousand Foot Krutch, Third Day, Family Force 5 And More, August 1-3

This year marks the 14th Annual Rock The Desert Christian music festival in Midland, Texas, from August 1-3. The theme for this year is, 'Awake My Soul.' This year's line-up includes well-known artists including, Flyleaf, For Today, Lecrae, Red, Thousand Foot Krutch, Third Day, Unspoken, Finding Favour, We Are Leo, Family Force 5, The City Harmonic and more.
Additional artists include Wolves At The Gate, Aaron Gillespie, Sleeping Giant, Disciple, Da' Truth, Craig King, Metal Mulisha, Ryan Ries, Green River Ordinance, Lara Watson, Samestate, Shonlock, Jenny Simmons, S.O.G., Nate Feuerstein, The Letter Black, Manafest, Je' Kob, Stomp Town Revival, Anthem Lights, James Stell and Big Rich. The event will also feature speaker Brad Fogarty as well as a performance by the C1RCA Skate Team.
According to the Rock The Desert website, "It is the mission of Rock The Desert to reach today's generation through contemporary Christian music and recreation so that they may hear the life changing Message of Jesus Christ." Through music and fellowship, the festival hopes to fulfill that mission.
Tickets for the festival must be purchased online after July 29 and will be available for pick up at will call. Tickets cost $25 if purchased in advance and $30 at the gate. In addition, camping and RV accommodations are also available. They each require a reservation fee ($25 for tent camping/ $50 for RVs) that will be refunded $25 when you arrive at the festival. Hotels and other accommodations can be made as well.
