Attack on Titan Season 2 release date is nothing but an hype created by rumors and fake news. They claim the series would be released in July or August, 2015. However, nothing is officially announced by the producers yet about it.
Attack on Titan is an anime series about manga created by Hajime Isayama in 2013. The series depicts a world where humans reside in cities covered by huge walls due to Titans and where gigantic humanoid creatures are trying to destroy humans for no reason. The main characters of the series are Eren Jaeger, his adoptive sister Mikasa and their friend Armin who are struggling to take a revenge from the Titans by joining the Scout Regiment that is fighting the Titans on the front lines.
The series is produced by Wit Studio whereas directed by Tetsuro Araki. The first episode of the title was aired on May 3, 2014 in English. Attack on Titans season 2 release date is expected next in July or August 2015. The rumors are making rounds online. The first rumored was triggered from Otako House, a singapore based online store that sells cosplay costumes and accessories. From there it has never stopped. It was suddenly picked by social media users and online news channels. The rumors spread like wildfire and since then it has never stopped.
The true news is that nothing is officially confirmed about the Attack on Titans season 5 release date as of now. We too are waiting to hear from Wit Studio too about it officially. In an interview with Tokyo Newspaper, manga senior editor Shintaro Kawakubo said the series might come to an end in next 3-4 years. Yes, but fans can see more spin-offs and continuations even if the original story is dead. Let's see if the rumors prove to be correct with the release date of July or August 2015.
