As fans said goodbye Jeanne Tripplehorn in "Criminal Minds" Season 9, fans will now say hello to Criminal Minds Season 10's latest addition: TV sweetheart Jennifer Love Hewitt.

Criminal Minds Season 10 spoilers revealed that Hewitt has signed on for the crime drama's latest season as FBI undercover agent Kate Callahan, whose solid reputation has earned her a spot in the Behavioral Analysis Unit.

Callahan will be in Criminal Minds Season 10's pilot episode. Criminal Minds Season 10 premiere is set for October 1.

Hewitt is a well-loved actress both on television and in the movies. She was seen in series such as "Party of Five", "The Ghost Whisperer", and "The Client List". Her film credits include blockbuster hits "I Know What You Did Last Summer", and "Can't Hardly Wait". Hewitt is also an accomplished singer. She is the voice behind tracks such as "Ordinary Love," "Don't Throw it All Away", and "Cool with You".

The "Criminal Minds" team, led by executive producer Erica Messer, is glad to have Hewitt as part of the cast.

Meanwhile, "Criminal Minds" Season 10 will be paying tribute to the late Meshach Taylor in one of its episodes. Taylor played Harrison Scott, a homeless vet who used to be a former Vietnam War marine sergeant. Taylor passed away in June due to lung cancer.
