GoPro Hero 4 Release Date Delay March 2015, Specs, Updates & New Features Revealed
Users waiting to get their hands on the new GoPro Hero 4 will have to be patient as the release date has officially been delayed. Some new details about the updated camera have surfaced though and the new specs and features could make it worth the wait.
According to The CineLens News Center, The GoPro Hero 4 is scheduled to have a release date in March 2015. Prices for the Hero 3 are dropping hinting the near release of the 4. The black edition of the 3 are reportedly dropping from $399 to $329.
The GoPro Hero series camera has been especially popular being used to capture live action videos and shots for extreme sports and adventure seekers. They have become known for high quality even in extreme conditions and different atmospheres including air, water and earth. Weighing less than 100g, it makes it easy to carry or strap on different extreme adventures and situations.
The Hero 3 came with the A7 chip and the Hero 4 will feature an upgrade to a A9 chip. With the upgraded A9, the GoPro 4 will be able to capture 4K videos, at the rate of 30 frames per second. This will be the first camcorder that can capture 4K videos at this rate. It will also have a Wi Fi module, an HDMI port for uploading and for sharing the videos easily.
The GoPro Hero 4 will be a waterproof camera as usual for this series and will allow videos to be shot in water up to 60 meters deep!
