White PS4 Release date, Spoilers and Review: Console to be Bundled with Destiny Game Which Comes out in September
The release date for White PS4 has been set for September 9th as according to reports from Sony. The new console is supposed to be bundled with Destiny, the game. Then a separate PS4 standalone will be made available for the fans, premiering later this year. Destiny is an upcoming MMO first person shooter game which will allegedly be one of the year's biggest game releases so far. With this in mind, it seems to use Destiny in order to move as many Play station 4 consoles as possible. Apparently, it is quite a smart strategy to bolster sales by announcing that Destiny will be released alongside the new console.
According to an interview with Sony President by Game one, the release of the upcoming game and console will be available not only for Europe but also for the United States at the same date of release as the previous version. They said in a statement that they are going to launch a bundle with Destiny on September 9th, however, later this year, they are going to release the standalone version of the White PS4 console, but by that time, the market will have acclimated and will be set for the release of the device.
At the moment, it is still not clear whether a non bundled version of the Glacier White PS4 version is going to be released outside the European jurisdiction. At the present, there is no clear news from Yoshida concerning the release of the non bundled version or the concerned release date from anyone else at Sony. At the present, the company is under the assumption that most people who are going for PS4 devices this year are doing it because it comes with a game. In all honesty, Sony is probably right but it would be a good idea for them to release the non bundled version soon after the release of the game to feature the white PS4 as a separate product.
