iPhone 6 Release Date: Launch on Sept 19, 2014, Apple Maintains Secrecy, Fans Awaiting Confirmation
While Apple is trying to maintain utmost secrecy for its upcoming new versions of iPhone 6, rumors have already made their marks online declaring September 19, 2014 as a possible date of launch. Apple, however, has not given any heeds to this and opts to remain silent. They are trying to maintain utmost secrecy to keep their arch rivals on the backfoot.
While competitors are eyeing on the release dates, rumors are that Apple would launch the two new iPhones together in September 2015. The rumors anticipated the new iPhones would have a 4.7-inch screen, A8 processor, 1GB RAM, thickness of 6.5mm to 7mm, power button on the right side, narrow bezels and 13 mega pixel rear camera.
Recode's John Paczkowski has however confirmed that it will be released on September 9th. We should not be surprised if Apple comes out a news in a week or two, since September is just a few weeks away. There are numerous videos and images going viral displaying the new iPhone but there is no assurance that they are real or manipulated.
Rumor mongers are creating fake videos and images to grab the attention and popularity, but we need to take all these rumors with a grain of salt. The sources also pointed out the Apple's previous release have mostly been in the September and October, so we hope there is a good news for all in the coming month. Let's wait and watch until then and keep our horns up and listening.
