Darlene Zschech Receives GMA Dove Award Nomination for "Testament"

Renowned worship leader, songwriter, and author Darlene Zschech has been honored with a nomination at the 55th Annual GMA Dove Awards for her latest album, Testament, in the category of Inspirational Album of the Year.
Zschech, known globally for penning the iconic worship anthem "Shout to the Lord", expressed her gratitude on social media, writing, "THANK YOU so much to @gmadoveawards for the honour of the nomination of 'Testament' for Inspirational Album of the Year. This was a beautiful and humbling surprise xxx."
This latest recognition adds to Darlene's long-standing legacy in Christian music. Over the years, she has been celebrated by the GMA Dove Awards with three previous nominations:
-
1997 - Shout to the Lord for Album of the Year
-
1998 - "Shout to the Lord" for Song of the Year
-
2000 - Songwriter of the Year
Her new project, Testament, marks a deeply personal and worshipful collection of songs, reflecting on God's faithfulness and Zschech's decades of ministry. Released alongside a 30-day devotional of the same name, the album revisits classic worship moments while offering powerful new declarations of faith.
The 55th Annual GMA Dove Awards will take place later this year, celebrating outstanding achievements and excellence in Christian and Gospel music.
