Wreck it Ralph 2 Release Date, Plot and Reveals: Mario and Tron could be Added to the Animated Cast
The release date for the second installment of Wreck it Ralph has not yet been confirmed. Although, Disney is definitely coming back and re instating themselves as the kings of animation with the successes of Frozen, Tangled and Wreck It Ralph. Disney definitely got it right with Wreck It Ralph. From the enchanting story line to the engaging cast and dialogue, it sure was a movie for the books. Raking in the millions for the movie giant, Wreck It Ralph grossed over 500 million dollars remaining in the Box Office top ten for over a month over its release. With such monetary success and multiple awards in the bag to boot it is no doubt that rumors of a sequel started floating around. Disney has however remained tight lipped about the release date or any work they are doing on the movie leaving this all to speculation from what little is getting out.
With a busy couple of years for Disney with the successes that have been Tangled and Frozen being the main attractions in the past two years and another Avengers, Captain America and possibly Thor coming in the next two, It is not clear where Wreck It Ralph two will fit in. However, composer Henry Jackman who worked on the first one was quoted by Variety magazine as saying 'I don't know any more other than a story is indeed being written. I'd be very surprised not to. I'm not blowing my trumpet. Forget about the music. Just the movie itself I thought was a fantastically imaginative and creative piece of work'
The voices of Jack McBrayer, Jane Lynch and John C. Riley are expected to remain although It is still unclear what new ones shall be joining. There are rumors that Mario and Tron could be added to the cartoon cast. The producers are also expected to explore online and console gaming and to update the characters. Whatever they decide to do, Wreck It Ralph 2 is bound to become a Disney classic like its predecessor.
