LASAL And Capitol CMG Announce Joint Venture Partnership Aiming To Redefine Music Industry

LASAL, a groundbreaking music label founded by Latin Grammy Award-winning producer and artist Samuel ASH, has announced a strategic distribution and joint venture partnership with Capitol CMG, marking a new era in the faith-based music industry and a significant milestone for both companies. Together, these two powerhouses aim to deliver inspiring music and messaging that transcends boundaries, combining faith-driven creativity with unparalleled global reach.
The joint venture celebrates its debut today, January 30, with a shared mission to restore balance, amplify impactful artistry, and provide a platform for diverse voices regardless of language or culture. Capitol will act as a partner in signing and developing artists alongside LASAL.
"LASAL was founded to be more than just a record label; it's a calling," said Samuel ASH, founder of LASAL. "In Spanish, LASAL translates to 'The Salt,' which adds flavor and restores balance within the body. That is our purpose: to restore balance in the music industry while allowing artists to freely express their creativity and faith without limits. Capitol CMG shares this vision, and together, we believe we can inspire and impact the world."
To commemorate this historic launch, LASAL's founder Sam ASH released his debut single, "DE LO MIO," earlier this month, on January 17, with a full-length album titled Entre Familia to follow. This release sets the tone for LASAL's bold and transformative approach to music, delivering a sound and message that resonates on a global scale.
Capitol CMG's partnership amplifies LASAL's mission, offering decades of industry expertise and a global infrastructure to bring this transformative music to the world stage.
"When we got to know Sam, it was clear that he was a special talent with a strong, global vision that aligned with ours," expressed Capitol CMG President Brad O'Donnell. "We are so excited about this collaboration with him and his team and the new opportunities we know this partnership will bring in the years to come."
