Sean Rodriguez Celebrates Multiple Milestones With Debut EP, New Single & Multi-Week #1 Hit

Jesus Will, the inaugural release from WieRok Records and the long-awaited debut EP from genre-spanning singer/songwriter Sean Rodriguez, is now available. Showcasing his reigning #1 hit, "It Is Finished" (feat. Disciple), which has claimed the top spot on Christian Music Weekly's Rock chart for a total of six weeks to date, the Jesus Will EP also features Rodriguez's first single of 2025, "Rise."
A pulsing pop anthem helmed by multi-GRAMMY and Dove Award-winning producer Chuck Butler (Tauren Wells, Micah Tyler) and penned by Rodriguez, Joshua Cockerham and Will Strotz, "Rise" is a timely message for a new year, underscoring God's transformative power to renew and restore lives.
"Not only does God fight for us, but He calls us to rise from the destruction of our past and step into the new life He has prepared for us," shares Rodriguez. "The joy of being a new creation in Christ is found in the forgiveness we receive from our past mistakes and faults and understanding that they are completely removed in God's eyes. The enemy has no hold over us, and that is ultimate freedom."
Along with "Rise," the eight-song Jesus Will EP is highlighted by Rodriguez's head-turning 2024 singles "Honey," "House of God" and the stirring title-cut, as well as "Jesús Lo Hará," a Spanish version of "Jesus Will." Additionally, the EP boasts Rodriguez's multi-week #1 Rock hit, "It Is Finished," featuring Disciple's Kevin Young and Josiah Prince. "Radio has carried this message much further than I could have on my own," Rodriguez says of his first chart-topper. "Watching this song take hold has been like witnessing an army of God assemble. We are the soldiers, and this is our Jericho shout!"
"Today marks an incredible milestone for us as we officially launch WieRok Records and proudly introduce our flagship artist, Sean Rodriguez," says Lance Wieland, CEO and co-founder of WieRok Entertainment Group. "His mission to create music that uplifts, inspires, and challenges listeners aligns perfectly with our vision to build a platform where authenticity and artistry thrive. We couldn't be more honored to walk alongside Sean, and with his passion lighting the way, we're excited to embark on this new chapter-together redefining what it means to leave a mark on the world through music."
