Mark Lowry Releases New Album, DVD and TV Special "There Is Hope"

Award-winning humorist, singer, songwriter, and GMA Hall of Fame Member Mark Lowry releases his new album, There Is Hope, today with Gaither Music Group. The new 11-track album finds the singer sharing messages of God's love and grace as he reflects on the promises of a Father who loves His children. There Is Hope features a gorgeous, new rendition of Lowry's Christmas classic, "Mary Did You Know?," penned by Lowry and singer/songwriter Buddy Greene, with heavenly harmonies performed by GRAMMY-nominees The Isaacs.
The There Is Hope DVD companion, also out today, features heartwarming concert performances from Lowry and a candid and inspiring interview with longtime friend and mentor Gloria Gaither. Lowry sang baritone for the GRAMMY© Award-winning Gaither Vocal Band for many years, and the special friendships he has with Bill and Gloria Gaither are ever present as Lowry speaks from the heart about the songs on There Is Hope.
"Since I was 11, I felt called to music by the Lord, and I prayed to be part of something that would outlive me. I am humbled and blessed to say I've experienced this gift with 'Mary, Did You Know?,'" Lowry shared. "I've revisited that song on this new album with wonderful harmony backing by The Isaacs, and I am also sharing other songs I've written. These are songs born from love and faith. My sincere wish is that you enjoy listening to There Is Hope as much as I enjoyed recording it."
"Mark has been a longtime member of our Gaither family. He has delighted and enlightened us, and audiences everywhere, with his sharp wit and his uplifting songs," Gloria Gaither said. "It was wonderful to get a chance to sit down with him and discuss his songs and his powerful message."
The There Is Hope television special will air on networks including RFD-TV, Trinity Broadcasting Network, Heartland, TCT, and TLN among other outlets throughout the United States and Canada. Performance videos from the new DVD will also air on the Gaither Music Facebook page, which boasts over two million subscribers. On September 20, the Gaither Music TV YouTube channel will premiere There Is Hope. This will feature concert performances and highlights from Lowry's interview with Gloria Gaither, inviting fans into Lowry's humorous, humble, and heartfelt orbit of unyielding faith in God's love.
There Is Hope features stirring singles such as "I Know What a Savior He Is," "God Doesn't Know," and "Mary Did You Know?" reimagined with emotive harmony vocals courtesy of premiere Grand Ole Opry members The Isaacs. To date, songs from There Is Hope have been featured on Apple Music's Front Porch Country Gospel playlist series, Gaither Radio on Amazon, and Gaither Radio on Pandora. A Pandora Story feature, capturing Lowry's heart behind these gems he penned, is planned soon for the release. Songs and videos from There Is Hope have been featured and promoted on the Gaither Music TV YouTube Channel, which has amassed over 3.5 million subscribers and over 3.7 billion views.
The special video single for "Mary Did You Know" will release on December 1. The full-length concert video will be available on demand on the GaitherTV+ platform, an ad-free subscription streaming service available on the UP Faith & Family network.
