'Once Upon a Time' ABC Season 4 Release Date 2014, Plot Spoilers, Cast Updates, Lana Parrilla & Jennifer Morrison Share on 'Frozen' Cast
"Once Upon a Time" Season 4 production is well underway and cast stars Lana Parrilla and Jennifer Morrison spoke with EOnline during 2014 San Diego Comic Con about working with new 'Frozen' cast members Anna (Elizabeth Lail) and Elsa (Georgina Haig) are fiting into their world.
"I know that when I saw Georgina [Haig] dressed as Elsa, and I met the two actresses when they were in costume, I felt like I was sitting in the movie theater watching the movie. They are identical to the characters in the movie. They look exactly like the animated versions. It's mind-blowing!" Lana shared.
Jennifer added about the two seamlessly becoming part of Storybrooke: "It's brave to take on such new characters. We're not talking about fairytale characters that we knew from 10 years or 20 years ago...I, as an audience member of the scripts, was totally fascinated to see were they going to be our friends, were they going to be our villains, was the ice going to be a problem, was it not going to be a problem, so I think a lot of the questions that the fans have are questions that we all had.
She continued, "We are now discovering one script at a time the way they've put them into our world and it's amazing to see how it feels like they've always been there. They've done it so seamlessly that it feels like, to us, Anna and Elsa have always been a part of our world."
ABC has announced their Fall 2014 television show schedule and "Once Upon a Time" Season 3 will premiere on ABC on September 28th on its normal Sunday evening at 9/8c.
Actress Georgina Haig will play the part of Princess Elsa. She is best known from her time on the FOX show "Fringe" (playing Henrietta "Etta" Bishop, the daughter of Peter Bishop and Olivia Dunham) and is currently on the CBS summer series "Reckless".
Anna, will be played by newcomer Elizabeth Lail in her first television role and Kristoff will be played by Scott Michael Foster ("Greek," "Chasing Life"). The latest actress to join the "Once Upon A Time" cast is "Lost" star Elizabeth Mitchell. The details of her role are still mysterious at this point, but she is believed to possibly have villain-like connections.
Adam Horowitz, executive producer of "Once Upon A Time" shared with The Hollywood Reporter recently that they were "honored" to be able to incorporate the Frozen universe and characters into his hit series. "We fell in love with [the movie] when it came out last year like everyone did, and we want to do our best to do it justice."
