Colton Dixon Releases "Rest of My LIfe" (from the Origin al Motion Picture SIGHT)

Angel Studios is honored to announce that Atlantic Recording Artist Colton Dixon has released the title track for the upcoming feature film SIGHT. "Rest of My Life (From the Original Motion Picture SIGHT)" is available today on all major music platforms.
"When I first heard "Rest of My Life", I instantly knew it was a fit for the film's epilogue," shares Ryan Svendsen, Angel Studios Head of Music. "It is extremely rare for the spirit and lyrics of a song to be an uncanny match for a scene but the stars aligned beautifully with Colton's track for SIGHT. We are honored to have Colton's uplifting music bring out this important moment. This song will be a reminder of not only the film but of the miracle that we are not confined by the things that we can physically see."
"Sometimes when you write a song, it takes on a life of its own," shares Dixon. "After I experienced the film and got to meet Dr. Wang in person, the lyrics and cadence of the song took on a whole new meaning. I can't wait for this song and the film to impact the world in a powerful way."
SIGHT comes to theaters Memorial Day weekend, 2024. Starring Greg Kinnear and Terry Chen, the film follows the true story of Dr. Ming Wang, a Chinese American who defies all odds to become a world-renowned eye surgeon in the United States. Drawing upon the grit and determination he gained from a turbulent uprising in his youth in China, Dr. Wang sets out to restore the sight of a blind orphan.
Lyrics to "Rest of My Life (From the Original Motion Picture SIGHT)"
Spent most of my life
Killin' my time on the sidelines wishin' I
Had a purpose had a reason had a why
I was searching with a blindfold In the dark
Til I met you and you rescued my heart
Was lost and found Was blind but now I'll never be the same
For the rest of my LIFE
I'm gonna reach higher I'm gonna live for what I believe
Everyday three sixty-five right up until the day that I DIE
In every moment be everything you made me to be
I'm not afraid with you right by my side for the rest of my
See it clearer in the mirror eyes are open
Cuz it's in Him that I'm placing all my hope in
Yeah, you loved me first now my universe is and will always be yours
For the rest of my LIFE
I'm gonna reach higher I'm gonna live for what I believe
Everyday three sixty-five right up until the day that I DIE
In every moment be everything you made me to be
I'm not afraid with you right by my side for the rest of my life
I was dying only trying to survive
But now I'm thriving Living like I am alive
Ain't it crazy How in the blink of an eye
You could change me for the rest of my life LIFE
I'm gonna reach higher I'm gonna live for what I believe
Everyday three sixty-five right up until the day that I DIE
In every moment be everything you made me to be
I'm not afraid with you right by my side for the rest of my life
