Chris Tomlin's "Good Friday Nashville" Becomes Largest Ticketed Christian Concert at Bridgestone Arena

Grammy winning artist and America's worship leader Chris Tomlin's 'Good Friday Nashville' became the largest ticketed Christian concert at Bridgestone Arena for the third time with a sold-out attendance of 15,889 on Friday night. Earlier this month to accommodate demand, production modifications were made to add more seats for the record setting event. The annual event began in 2017 and has continued each year, including virtually through a worldwide stream during the pandemic in 2020 and 2021.
Continuing the annual tradition of welcoming surprise guests, Chris invited CMA Entertainer of The Year and Grammy award winner Lainey Wilson and chart topping CCM artist Cody Carnes to perform, along with previously announced speaker Duck Dynasty's Willie Robertson and performers CCM powerhouse Kari Jobe, and Grammy-nominated Anne Wilson.
"All over the earth this past weekend the church gathered to remember the cross and to celebrate the hope of the resurrection... life over death" said Chris. "Thank you to everyone who joined us for Good Friday Nashville locally and to those who joined us digitally worldwide. Thank you to the large team who made this record breaking night happen. To Anne Wilson, Kari Jobe, Lainey Wilson, Cody Carnes, and Willie Robertson thank YOU for giving your time and talents to make Good Friday Nashville an impactful night of worship and remembering. God was truly present."
'Good Friday Nashville' continues its reign as the longest running annual charity related concert at Bridgestone Arena as each year proceeds have gone back to the community. The event continues to benefit the foster care and adoption crisis through 'For Others', a non-profit organization created by Tomlin and his wife Lauren. 'For Others' aims to be a voice for the vulnerable by living out their mission of raising awareness and empowering best-in-class organizations to end the child welfare crisis in America.
In preparation for the sold-out event, the release of a new album Live From Good Friday and a new book How Great is Our God: Living a Worship-Led Life in a Me-Driven World, Chris was the guest co-host on KLOVE Radio every morning last week, made an appearances on The Bobby Bones Show (iHeartRadio) and Apple Music's Country Faith Radio with friends Tyler Hubbard and Ashley Gorley. Chris was also the first-ever artist to take-over Amazon's Praise & Worship station.
During the concert, Chris announced tickets for 'Good Friday Nashville' 2025 were now available creating excitement from the concert goers resulting in more than 50% of the tickets selling over the weekend. 'Good Friday Nashville' is promoted & produced by Awakening Events who have enjoyed a 19-year touring relationship with Chris and generously donate their time, energy, and resources to this concert each year. 'Good Friday Nashville' is presented by K-LOVE, Air1, The Fish and WAY-FM.
