The Talleys Release Live Rendition of “Oh Glorious Love”

In a fitting close to 2023, the latest entry in The Talleys' streaming-only live singles series, Messages To Treasure: A Live Anthology, finds the storied trio offering praise to the Lord in the elemental form that underpins the entire structure of gospel music: with the sound of nothing more than the human voice.
Echoing centuries of sacred music, as well as the foundations of the Southern Gospel field in which they have toiled for so many years, "Oh Glorious Love" weaves the voices of Debra, Lauren and Roger Talley into a heartfelt tapestry that is unabashedly unadorned, yet rich with expressive power and spiritual fervor. As their voices blend in a subtle set of variations that grow more elaborate with each verse and chorus, The Talleys' creative mastery - and devotion to Christ's message - become ever more evident, and the performance ever more compelling.
Says Roger Talley, "'Oh Glorious Love' is a powerful song written by a prolific early worship writer, John W. Peterson. We were looking for a new a capella song and came up with an acapella arrangement for it. It remains a most-requested song to this day."
