King hopes listeners will be encourage by his new song. "As you all listen, my hope is that `Every Day' puts joy in your heart and a smile on your face. My prayer is that it inspires true praise to rise from your heart to King Jesus in the manner that Psalm 96 reminds us to do: `Sing a new song to the Lord! Let the whole earth sing to the Lord! Sing to the Lord; praise his name. Each day proclaim the good news that he saves... Tell everyone about the amazing things he does!'"
As for teaming up with Carr. He comments, "For those of you who may not know, Jekalyn is literally one of the best vocalist on the planet! She is a total powerhouse with five Grammy nominations, nine Billboard #1's and several GMA Dove Award and Stellar Award wins. But most of all, her heart for God and her anointing for worship shine though every single time she sings. Jekalyn, it means the world to have you as a part of this song. Thank you sister!"
Hailing from Turlock, CA and now based in Dallas, King has led worship at conferences around the world, written a book on worship, Defending the Purity of Worship, and released an independent album, Giants & Oceans, in 2014. After leading the worship department at Christ for the Nations Institute in Dallas, he is now a worship leader at Gateway Church. His aim is to carry the Presence of God everywhere he goes and the message of loving God with all that we are.
