Left 4 Dead 3 Release Date Irrelevant; Representative of Turtle Rock Game Developer Shuts Down Left for Dead Series in Support of Budding Evolve Project
The release date for left 4 dead 3 depends upon the release date for Source Engine 2. Thus it can be assumed that left 4 dead 3 as well as Half Life 3 are both running of source 2 as it is going to offer a whole new gaming according to reports. This includes aspects such as next generation graphics and more interactivity than previously anticipated. The other thing that will delay the release date for the game is the politics within the creative companies themselves.
Apparently, left 4 dead 3 has found a new developer because Turtle Rock was too busy developing Evolve at the present. Turtle Rock has been the creative part of Valve for some time now and now that they have decided to part ways with the parent company, part of their franchise as an individual studio was left 4 dead which premiered back in 2008. Of course, this leaves the fans wondering just what is going on and what will become of left 4 dead 3.
At the present, the company is focusing on creating a new game known as Evolve. Phil Robb from Turtle Rock said that the game is the first original idea that the game has had as an independent developer and they are just going to run with it. Apparently, as a consolation for the fans out there who were really anticipating the next Left 4 Dead installment, the game is much like Left 4 Dead. There will be a multiple player platform whereby they have to work together in order to accomplish missions and fulfill tasks. Apparently, Phil said the company was finished with the Left for dead series, which seems as though they are going the way of Valve by not making trilogies. He did some hope of the company looking into the Left 4 dead file but that is only when they have settled into Evolve and that is definitely going to be a few years, at least.
