Andrew Ripp Receives a Wall Plaque for His #1 Single

Nashville-based singer and songwriter Andrew Ripp announces that he has received a wall plaque for his single "Fill My Cup." The song hit #1 on both Billboard Christian airplay and AC Airplay charts earlier this year.
Ripp writes, "This came in the mail yesterday and I wanted to say congrats to my incredible team. From the writing and production to the radio promo ninjas. I couldn't be more grateful to be on this wild ride w/ y'all. And to everyone who played the song and listened to the song THANK YOU!
"This has been such a fun experience and I don't take it for granted. I spent over a decade kicking doors down trying to MAKE this thing happen only to be left exhausted and defeated. I let go of my dream in 2015 and sold my guitar on craigslist... over a two year period of time the Lord revealed to me that my worth had nothing to do with my music.
"That's when the divine doors began to open for me. I had been so busy forcing my way in to rooms that I had no idea what room I was made to be in. Anyhow, I hope that inspires someone out there who knows it's time to let go of their dream to make room for Gods. Let me remind you that letting go isn't giving up. It's quite the opposite here's to whatever the good Lord has planned for 2023."
Raised outside of Chicago, Ripp creates music that pushes the boundaries of genre stereotypes, blending the energetic beats of pop music into a soul culture and adding the depth & groove of soul music into a pop culture - all underlined by his personal journey of faith.
As a touring artist, Ripp has opened for Sara Bareilles, Andy Grammer, Needtobreathe, Jon Foreman, and the Plain White T's. He has performed on high-profile TV shows including ABC's Bachelor in Paradise and Entertainment Tonight and his songs have been featured on American Idol, House of Lies, and One Tree Hill.
