NBC's The Voice Contestant Bodie Impresses Brandon Lake with "Gratitude"

NBC's The Voice contestant Bodie Kuljian performed Brandon Lake's hit song "Gratitude" on the Season 22 finale of the show. Bodie was on Blake Shelton's team and was the runner-up to first-place winner Bryce Leatherwood. The performance was so extraordinary that it impressed Brandon Lake.
Lake wrote on social media saying, "You're such an incredible inspiration to me and so many others. Such an incredible honor to sing this song on TV."
"It was such an incredible honor to sing this song on such a large platform," Bodie shared. "So grateful."
Bodie began his musical journey singing and learning all sorts of instruments, ranging from clarinet to drums. He began writing and producing his own music at 11. At 15, bodie was diagnosed with alopecia. He lost all of his hair and became very sick, leading to trouble in school, depression and anxiety. Despite doctors' predictions, his hair has miraculously grown back and fallen out several times since high school. His hair is currently back in patches, but mostly white. bodie has performed all over the country and has always used his music as an outlet and a way to encourage and inspire others. bodie is now busy with his wife and three kids as he plays shows, runs his media company, leads worship at his church and teaches as an adjunct professor.
