Catching Up with Blessing Offor: New Single & GMA Dove Awards Nomination

Multi-talented singer songwriter and Top 5 Billboard artist Blessing Offor has many things going on for him. He has just released his new single "My Tribe." Offor has also garnered a 2022 Dove Award nomination for "New Artist of the Year." The 53rd GMA Dove Awards will take place on October 18, 2022 and will air October 21, 2022 on TBN.
With regards to his Dove Awards nomination, Offer exclaims, "This is an honor that I never dared to even imagine getting. I am beyond grateful to be nominated for New Artist of the Year! Look at God!"
As for his new single, he writes, "This song is a pure celebration of all the people in our lives who show up for us in good or bad weather. It's a reminder for us to not take them for granted."
Bouncing around the vocal booth during recording sessions, Blessing kicks off the song with a beautiful summation - "You can keep your money / You can keep your gold / I'll keep the ones who want me / Won't ever let me go." Living in the light of the people that love you feels like home; there's no greater place to be than surrounded by those that support you and accept you for who you are. With canny arrangements and rich instrumentation, Blessing's sharp production and writing skills are on full display with yet another ear-wormy summer hit.
