Jamie Kimmett Returns with New Single After Car Accident

Scottish singer and songwriter Jamie Kimmett returns with his brand new single "Angels We Have Heard on High." This is Kimmett's first single after his car accident. In August of this year, Kimmett was involved in a car accident while he driving home from a concert in Arkansas. He was hit by an 18 wheeler truck and was airlifted to a nearby hospital. By God's grace and healing, Kimmett has recovered and now he's ready to sing and worship.
"So i know it's not thanksgiving yet! but my Christmas single `Angels We Have Heard on High' just hit this morning!" Kimmett announces. "Excited for you guys to hear it and so Grateful to God for saving my life and giving me one more Christmas to sing Glory to God in the highest! Hope you love it! Thank you for all your prayers and support- means so much. `Come adore on bended knee- Christ the Lord the new born King' wooohooo."
Kimmett has already a staple at radio with his first top 10 radio hit, "Prize Worth Fighting For," and he's making a name for himself on the road. He's also shared the stage with Zach Williams and for King & Country, and is now on tour with Casting Crowns through the fall.
Yet, Jamie Kimmett's story is a unique one. He's been honored to work with some of the biggest names in the music industry - Steve Porcaro (Toto band member, songwriter of Michael Jackson's "Human Nature"), Randy Jackson ("American Idol"), Babyface (Al Green, Whitney Houston, Bruno Mars) - and he sang on demo tracks for Michael Jackson. He was even offered a coveted record deal, but he turned it down.
