Phil Thompson on His New Album: "There's a Boldness in Knowing Your Identity in Him"

Worship leader and songwriter Phil Thompson's debut album for Integrity Music Lion Of Judah releases this Friday (July 23). Thompson has had led worship across the globe including Ghana, Nigeria, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Canada and the Caribbean Islands. There is a sense of boldness that comes with this 11-song album.
"There's a boldness that comes with knowing who you are," Thompson explained. "There's a boldness that comes from knowing your identity in HIM. My favorite type of boldness is when you're standing on His word. That type of boldness and confidence is unbreakable when you understand the nature of the father... and how lying is not in His makeup... True rest comes from trusting God."
The songs on his project were written during the pandemic; though it felt like everything burned to the ground, Phil Thompson declares that "the ground is more fertile than it's ever been!"
Established on the hope and faith rising out of the ashes of the past year, Lion Of Judah is filled with powerful praise and reverential adoration. Songs of faith declaration, trading fear for confidence, and the metamorphosis that accompanies the message of the Gospel saturate 'Lion Of Judah' with a fresh boldness in worship. "The mandate is clear. I feel the Lord's call on my life to lead people into His presence - to lead them to worship," Phil adds.
The new album is a response to the anxiety, troubles and shakings that we all face, reminding the body of Christ of the solid hope found in the Lion of the tribe of Judah! You can pre-order/add/save "Lion of Judah" now!! https://slinky.to/PT-LionofJudah?tl=facebook
