Lion and Bear Drop Debut Album and Share the Importance of Having a Child-Like Faith

Lion & Bear has dropped their debut fell-length album Hollows last Friday via BEC Recordings. Lion and Bear comprise of childhood friends and brothers-in-law, Andrew Enos and Michael Landingham. Both of them have experienced devastating losses of children followed by a stark realization: most people don't know how to grieve. They fashioned the band from the ashes of their anguish in an effort to find healing and share that healing with others.
Lion & Bear, a moniker inspired by the Bible's King David, is an emblem of hope for the weary proclaiming this truth: pain is messy and uncomfortable, but if you go to the depths of your humanity, God will be there.
"Our first full length album is out now," Lion and Bear announced. "A MASSIVE thank you to our amazing producer, Chad Carouthers for all of his hard work. There's no way this project would have been nearly as special without you. Through this process, we gained a true brother and friend. Love you, bro!
Also, thank you to our amazing label, BEC rECORDINGS for making this all possible. Shout out to the greatest A&R guy, Brian Ortize you're the real deal. We're so grateful for you! Thanks also to Drew Small for all of his work in marketing this stuff. We love you!
In addition, Lion and Bear have released their single "Cling" to radio. The song encourages us to trust God like a child places his faith in his or her father. "Like a child when the night is storming/I'm crying out for the light of the morning/When I'm in over my head/Where can I go? What can I do?/I cling to You."
"Thank you, Bryan Fowler and Micah and Micah Kuiper for the amazing writing and production on Cling! You guys are legends. We're so humbled we had the opportunity to work with you guys!"
