Maverick City Music and Elevation Worship Share their Thoughts About their New Song "Names"

Last Friday Maverick City Music and Elevation Worship released their first collaborative album together entitled Old Church Basement. The album was an immediate hit as it zooms into the #2 position of the iTunes All-Genre Album chart and at #1 on the iTunes Christian album chart.
One of the highlights of the record is the track "Names," which features Elevation Worship's Tiffany Hudson on lead vocals. The song "Names," written by Tiffany Hudson, Amanda Lindsey Cook and Jason Ingram, was inspired by Isaiah 9:6 which says, "unto us a child is born and son is given, and the government will be upon His shoulders. and he shall be called wonderful counselor, mighty God, everlasting father, prince of peace"
Everlasting Father
Prince of Peace
Immanuel, God with us
You're here with me
Wonderful Counselor
The government is resting on Your shoulders

The team shares their thoughts about the song, "This is a beautiful prophecy of the savior that was to come. And now we have seen the fulfillment of the prophecy through Jesus. It's one thing to hear about these names and qualities of a God we do not know and another to experience these things personally in the way God meets with us. Every day this prophecy of old is fulfilled in a real and personal way through the way Jesus reveals his love and character to us."
Tiffany Hudson adds, "We sure touched heaven in that old church basementI pray these songs and moments would bring you to real encounters with God, much like they have for me Very grateful for everyone that poured heart & soul into this project."
