Gospel Music Artist Nia Allen Teaches Us the Beauty of Waiting on God

We live in a world that needs answers instanteously. However, God often never honors our time constraints. Rather, he wants us to wait upon him, so that we can trust him for whatever outcomes he has for us. It is the hope of Gospel music artist Nia Allen to convey such a truth in her latest hit single "Wait."
"Wait," which was written by Allen and her father, Milton Ruffin, came to Allen when she was in the middle of making a decision. While she was walking down the street, desperate for answers, God told her to wait. This was when the song was birthed. The song is also particularly significant and dear to Allen who is single. She shares. "It's a song I've had to live out. I am currently single and waiting patiently for my husband to find me. I'm also still waiting on the full manifestation of certain things that I believe God has spoken to my heart."
This week Nia Allen's wait is paid off as the song claims the #1 spot on Billboard's National Gospel Airplay Chart. Additionally, "Wait" has reached top 50 on Billboard's Urban AC Chart. Allen is elated at the news,"Wow....Thanks SO Much @billboard & Thank you ALL for the love concerning my song `Wait.'"
"Wait" is lifted from Nia Allen's six-track EP, Every Nation, and is available now at all major digital retailers. Allen writes, "The heart behind the album was/is to encourage racial unity within the Body of Christ) - Its rooted in Revelation 7:9." Every Nation features six uplifting songs, including the lead-single, "Every Nation," recorded live at Hopes House in Los Angeles, based off Revelation 7:9-11, describing what worship will look like in Heaven.
In addition to her music, Allen serves as an Adjunct Professor at Azusa Pacific University. She also serves as a consultant, mentor, and Board member for the Worship Arts and Ministry program at California Baptist University.
