CeCe Winans Shows Her Appreciation as New Album Debuts at #1

CeCe Winans' brand new album Believe for It debuts at #1 on Billboard's charts. The album sits on the penthouse position for this week's Billboard Top Gospel Album, Current Gospel Album, and Gospel Digital Song charts. Meanwhile, the album enters the Top Christian Album chart at #3.
Rather than just saying thank you, Winans shows her appreciation by bringing to fore the people who have worked behind the scenes to make this record a success. She shares: "I've learned through the years that showing appreciation is more than saying thank you. It's about demonstrating that your team is truly seen and heard by thanking them for specific actions. It's about showing that you understand and empathize with the struggles your team faces every day. And it's about purpose too. True appreciation connects your team's efforts back to a grand vision and mission.
Winans continues to list the people who have helped her on the record from her management team to the songwriters. "Therefore, I'd like to publicly thank the team at @ft_service, my MWS Group management team, the team at @cmoncreative, @redalliancemedia, radio (@theglamazonmom @ftsradiopromo) and publicity teams. Also, I can't forget my producers @kyleleemusic and @dwanhill along with my band and singers and the many songwriters of this album. My heart is full of gratitude for each of you, and I celebrate this achievement with you. May God continue to use this album for His glory and to further advance His kingdom!"
Believe For It (Live) is her first ever live record. Comprising of newly scripted songs, some of her older material, and her cover of contemporary worship songs, this is a stellar collection of 13 well-curated songs (plus two studio versions of "Never Lost" and the title cut "Believe for It"). Whilst many live records falter from too many meaningless ab-libs or ceaseless chatter, the songs tightly flow one into another. However, this doesn't mean that Winans is on cruise control; she does interact meaningfully with her audience and she even offers an altar call after "I Have a Savior" which is one of the album's highlights.
