Kanye West Sends Prayers to President Trump and First Lady After COVID-19 Diagnosis

Even though Kanye West is also running against Donald Trump in the upcoming presidential election, West took the time to pray for President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump as they undergo treatment for COVID-19.
West writes on social media: "There's a crying need for civility across the board. We need to and will come together in the name of Jesus," West wrote. "I'm praying for President Trump's and Melania's full recovery, just as I would for Joe and Jill Biden if they were stricken, as well as everyone else with COVID-19."
West's 2019 album Jesus is King entered atop the US Top Christian Albums and Top Gospel Albums charts. By doing so, Jesus Is King gave West his first appearance on the respective charts and the sales stood as the biggest unit week on both charts. On the US charts, the album became the first to ever top the Billboard 200, Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums, Top Rap Albums, Top Christian Albums and Top Gospel Albums at the same time.
