Charlie Daniels' Funeral Service Details Announced

Country Music Hall of Fame, Grand Ole Opry member and southern rock legend Charlie Daniels passed away on Monday, July 6th at Summit Medical Center in Hermitage, Tennessee. Doctors determined the cause of death was a hemorrhagic stroke. Daniels was 83.
A funeral for Daniels is set for 11 a.m. Friday at World Outreach Church in Murfreesboro, per the Sellars Funeral Services website. Sellars Funeral Home will host a visitation Thursday in Mt. Juliet from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
"The family would like to dedicate a special thank you to the men and women of the United States Military, law enforcement and first responders, as well as the loyal and dedicated CDB (Charlie Daniels Band) fans around the world," an obituary on the Sellars website said.
The Daniels family plans to hold a patriotic-themed memorial at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday outside the Sellars Funeral Home in Mt. Juliet. The event features Trace Adkins, Tracey Lawrence, Darryl Worley and others.
World Outreach Church is at 1921 State Hwy 99, Murfreesboro. Sellars Funeral Home is at 2229 N. Mt. Juliet Rd in Mt. Juliet.
