Jesus Culture's Derek Johnson Releases Brand New Single "The Way You Love Me"

Jesus Culture artist and worship leader Derek Johnson has just release his brand new single "The Way You Love Me." The song is a tender yet powerful worship ballad that marvels at God's most gracious love.
Johnston reveals: "This song came from a time where I was wrestling with the perfect love of the Father for an imperfect person like me. And the journey of finally surrendering all that doesn't make sense ... finally giving myself over to who He is. It all came with such a desire to tell God how grateful I am for that kind of Love. The kind of Love that pulls us from darkness. That covers our sin. That patiently waits at the door while we try to shut it out.
It's my hope that as you listen you find yourself more able to give yourself over to Him in every way. "
This new song is the follow-up to Johnson's debut album REAL LOVE. Prior to the release of REAL LOVE, Derek has been featured on Jesus Culture's CD Emerging Voices, which hit No.1 on the iTunes Christian/Gospel chart. His song "I Belong To You" was also featured as a bonus track on Jesus Culture's 2012 album Live From New York (with Martin Smith), which received a Dove nomination for Best Event Album of the Year.
As a member of the Sacramento-based Jesus Culture team since 2009, he's led worship at every Jesus Culture conference since 2011 and has opened for Kim Walker-Smith and Jesus Culture Band at sold-out venues across the country.
