People Loving Nashville Provides 26k Meals in 2019

On any given night in Nashville there are thousands experiencing a state of being unhoused. Every Monday night for more than a decade, non-profit organization People Loving Nashville has brought a wholesome meal, a refreshing drink, clothing and emergency supplies to some of the most vulnerable of Music City. It is during this holiday season and on #GivingTuesday that People Loving Nashville is striving to raise $60,000 by New Year's Eve to provide meals and emergency supplies in 2020.

For PLN to meet the needs of the community every week, the cost is two dollars for food and drink. In 2019, the group fed 26,000 people and are geared up to feed and clothe that number and beyond in 2020.
"We are reaching more people than ever," shares People Loving Nashville founder Ryan Lampa. "Our community is strong. We are partnering with other local outreaches to bring as many resources as we can to the streets. Nashville Street Barbers provide hair cuts, Shower Up is a mobile shower, Hope Clinic for Women, as well as bringing Bibles, prayer team with Vineyard Nashville and general needs through Project Nashville along with the Wild Indigo Program."
"We've also partnered with resources like Open Table Nashville to engage further on the cold weather response, and canvassing and supplying transportation for our most vulnerable friends. PLN also partners with Centerstone to provide a 'fast track' to our friends who suffer from addiction and mental illness getting them into the right hands as soon as possible. All of these partnerships are awesome, and we are looking forward to helping out so many more next year."
